Denis Zilber is an illustrator born in the Russian city of Minsk who now works and lives in Tel Aviv (Israel).

In this course you will enjoy the advice and experiences of Denis Zilber about the creation and design of the character. To do this, we will work on light, correcting illuminations and its effects. In addition, we will create and add different color blocks and combinations thereof. We will also learn to get correct textures such as metal or plastic, to give greater coherence to the character; and to show the light and brightness snugly to each of its parts. In this sense, follow their advice will be essential to control the reflection and diffusion between different types of fabrics and materials.
We’ll see how Denis performs the selection of colors when rendering when painting. In the field of children’s books he has collaborated with: Penguin Publishing and Scholastic Books, Hotkey Books, Sterling Children’s Books and Clubhouse Jr.
In recent years, Denis has started to teach and give lectures on illustration and narration throughout the world, from Brazil, Mexico and USA, through Spain, Portugal, Russia, Belarus and Israel.
