In this course, watercolor artist Jorge Corpuna will conduct a detailed study of the use and application of greens in watercolor landscapes. We will analyze the different types of greens, how to understand their correct blending, tone, and intensity, how to properly create color breaks, and how to apply the lightest to darkest greens and their combinations to the details.
With step-by-step explanations, we will learn how to work wet-on-wet, dry, and in negative; how to create volume through form and color; how to integrate background and vegetation; how to understand the reflection of light; and how to add texture to the foreground of our work using the splashing technique.
