En este curso, el pintor Fermín García Sevilla llevará a cabo la realización de un paisaje a partir de la interpretación de una fotográfica prestando especial atención a la incidencia de la luz y al tratamiento equilibrado del color.
Vamos a crear una obra de principio hasta el fin con explicaciones paso a paso, vamos a entender como plasmar correctamente la fotografía en nuestro cuadro y a darle vida y aportarle realismo a la obra con todos los consejos que un maestro de la pintura y el paisaje en particular como Fermín García Sevilla nos puede brindar.
A través de 9 vídeos con un total de más 3 horas de duración veremos:
- Materiales, paleta mixta, pinceles, recursos.
- El dibujo previo. La importancia del color base y la composición.
- Valor de los puntos de referencia. Los perfiles y tonos de transición.
- La fusión de colores. El refuerzo de sombras.
- El tratamiento de los verdes. El volumen y los brillos.
- La importancia de la línea de horizonte y la evaluación tonal.
- Representación de la atmósfera y el espacio.
- La profundidad, temperatura de color y mucho más.

Como bien dice el Maestro, una fotografía no da la información que puede dar el paisaje del Natural, el color, la luz, la atmósfera… aún así, nos enseña a interpretar la fotografía como sólo un gran Maestro sabe. La Solana, es desde mi punto de vista, muy difícil, y más para que quien no pintamos poblaciones, pero viéndolo crear y explicado por él parece “fácil” sin serlo. Un reto más a alcanzar. El Maestro motiva siempre a querer aprender y avanzar más. Mi valoración es máxima.

Una interpretación de una fotografía paisajística con una maestría que sólo un gran Maestro hace que parezca sencillo. El resultado es impresionante, ha conseguido que su paisaje sea totalmente creíble, una genialidad. Nos enseña como una fotografía plana puede convertirse en una gran obra con atmósfera y color, que nada tiene que ver con los colores de esa fotografía. Durante este curso aprenderás a realizar un paisaje, a partir de referencia fotográfica, de principio a fin iniciando las primeras manchas con pintura acrílica para continuar con pinturas al óleo.

Computer personal or tablet to view the videos. It is also possible to use a smartphone, although we recommend larger screen sizes to better appreciate details. On the other hand, each one will be able to use the preferred material (watercolor palette, brushes, paper of greater or lesser quality...) to carry out the practices. During the first part of the course, Francisco Castro will make some fundamental recommendations.
The materials, we reiterate, are recommended. The tutorial can be done without all the materials or in formats other than those oriented in the tutorials.
The important thing is to practice, practice and practice again the exercise proposed by the artist.

About the artist
Fermín García Sevilla
Spanish painter ( Tomelloso, Ciudad Real 1961)
He is a self-taught plastic artist who has developed his work in the reproduction of natural landscapes. Throughout his career he has received numerous awards and has been distinguished with many other awards. Among them, the following stand out: First prize in the National Contest of the Alpujarras in Capileira (Granada) in 2014; the First National Prize “Autonomous City of Melilla” in 2010; or the "Sevillian Endesa Foundation" Award from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Santa Isabel de Hungary in Seville in 2009, to mention just three of those awards.
The landscapes that Fermín García Sevilla paints are spaces that he recreates without losing detail but that envelop the viewer as if it were a single and indivisible whole. And it is that in his proposals the artist pays special attention to the distribution of the elements so that they guide the gaze of those who contemplate it, following a logic that turns the work into a close and friendly discourse.
In his work, García Sevilla uses a mixed technique, although with a preponderance of oil, which allows him to get the most out of drawing and color. In all of his proposals, the suggestive brushstrokes and the play of light stand out. His themes drink from the very Nature that he knows as experience, a fact that makes his paintings seem alive.
